The Chapter is developing a series of AI Workshops, both in-person and virtual, that will bring the latest developments Artificial Intelligence to our communities in NYC.  The workshops will provide an overview of the technology, practical ways to use various applications, and will explore concerns about its development. 

The Chapter believes that it is critical that our communities are not only informed about the impacts of this transformational technology but also are educated and presented with practical ways to harness and access AI for their own uses. Towards that end:

• The Chapter will produce a series of virtual seminars and workshops that bring the power of Artificial Intelligence to the community in a way that is accessible by them.
• Workshops will provide practical demonstrations and opportunities for participants to engage with various AI applications directly.
• The seminars and workshops will be recorded and posted on the Chapter’s various community streaming services and websites for follow-up viewing by participants and others.
• The Chapter will create a series of AI focused radio programs to air on the Community & Technology weekly radio program broadcast on WHCR 90.3 FM Radio  (www.whcr.org), produced and hosted by Chapter board members.
• This project was originally scheduled for 2025, but because of logistical and scheduling challenges is now being produced over the first two (2) or more quarters of 2026.
